Trip To Cleveland: Crop Bar & Bistro

Crop Bar and Bistro is located in the up and coming area of Ohio City in Cleveland Ohio. Being from Cleveland, I have seen how this area has really developed in terms of the food scene. Most Clevelanders know that the downtown area is full of foreclosed homes and has been lacking a real downtown-tourist vibe. Since a younger crowd has started to migrate into the Ohio City area and other areas like Tremont, the vibes are starting to pick up! Crop was rated one of America's Top Restaurants according to Zagat in 2012 and has since been attracting the attention of locals and tourists alike in experiencing the innovative, fresh, and trendy cuisine offered at this gorgeous restaurant.

Dining at this restaurant with my family when I came home for the weekend, I immediately fell in love even before stepping inside! The area itself was a foodie paradise, located right across the street was the West Side Market (a staple in Cleveland for tasting the true flavors of the City and seeing the local venders) and right next door to Crop is my favorite place to get vegan/organic frozen yogurt called Piccadilly Artisan Yogurt. Walking inside Crop, which is housed inside of an old banking building, the open space, high ceilings, and atmosphere was trending and full of elegance. The staff was very professional and knowledgable about the food, which I could not complain about either. Lets just say my family and I left overly satisfied and I cannot wait to make a return trip!
